Programme Overview

CPD – Accredited Training + 12 month Support

This programme positions your business at the forefront of proactive wellbeing, prevention, and performance. By embedding Champions across departments and teams, organisations move beyond crisis response to create cultures where wellbeing is lived, not laminated.

At a time when workplace wellbeing has become a strategic priority, the Wellbeing Champion Programme stands out as one of the UK’s most advanced, practical and sustainable approaches.

Developed and delivered in partnership by Tonic Wellbeing and Illuminare Executive Education, the programme combines clinical insight, executive education and over 20 years of real-world delivery experience.

We don’t just train Champions – we equip and support them to lead. Through CPD-accredited training, 12 months of structured development, and access to expert networks and resources, your Champions become confident, capable culture-shapers who strengthen connection, inclusion and resilience within your organisation.

With the Wellbeing Champion Programme, you’re investing in healthier people, stronger teams and a more resilient organisation – for now and for the future.

Why Wellbeing Champions?

Across sectors, organisations are realising that traditional wellbeing training is not enough. Teams face growing pressure, and line managers often lack the time or confidence to support effectively. Champions bridge that gap – translating wellbeing strategy into daily action.

Champions are people within your organisation who:

Normalise conversations about wellbeing (including financial, physical, and emotional health).

Model resilience and healthy boundaries

Strengthen inclusion and belonging across teams

Connect policies to real-life workplace practice

Sustain wellbeing through peer networks and mentor support

Stronger Together

Change happens when you support your people and move forward together. That belief sits at the heart of everything we do. Illuminare Executive Education and Tonic Wellbeing have joined forces to create the Wellbeing Champion Programme – a collaboration grounded in over 20 years of combined expertise in leadership, education, and clinical wellbeing. While the programme itself has been in design for nearly twelve months, its foundations were built through decades of real-world experience – seeing how workplace wellbeing has evolved, understanding what’s missing, and knowing what truly works in practice.

The Wellbeing Champion Programme was created to meet a growing need: not only to equip individuals to respond effectively to mental health challenges, but to prepare them to live and lead well. It empowers participants to influence culture, shape conversations, and embed proactive wellbeing within the organisations they lead and serve.

Wellbeing is the foundation of all performance. Together, Illuminare and Tonic Wellbeing combine executive education with clinical insight, bringing together specialists who have coached, trained, and supported leaders and teams across sectors worldwide. The result is a new kind of corporate wellbeing community, one that is positive, evidence-informed, future-focused, and built around sustainable human performance.
